Why Boni Khalwale is celebrating Kalonzo Musyoka

Former Kakamega County Senator Boni Khalwale says he has reasons to celebrate National Super Alliance (NASA) Coalition co-Principal and Wiper Democratic Movement – Kenya leader Kalonzo Musyoka.

"This man Kalonzo Musyoka! The most insulted (by ODM Party) leader alive! Give it to him, he ran for president in 2007 & got a cool 1 million votes plus. The former VP has twice (2013 & 2017) supported our brother Raila Odinga. Not a mean thing. Man, I celebrate u!" the former Senator tweeted.

For over a decade Mr. Kalonzo has made political moves that have made Kenyans label him as an opportunist, watermelon, and not-principled. He has been mentioned many times as a deserter with the most recent incident being on January 30 when he and other co-principals failed to show up for Raila Odinga’s swearing-in fete at Uhuru Gardens.

Following the recent meeting between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga, Kenyans are left wondering what the political future of NASA looks like with the co-principals insisting the coalition is still intact.

Mr. Khalwale;’s remarks triggered a series of responses as his many Twitter followers shared their opinion on Kalonzo being great.
