In accordance with article one of the Kenyan constitution, National Super Alliance (NASA) coalition has resorted to coming up with the people’s assembly with a strategy laid to swear in the people’s president.
Huge expectations from Raila Amollo Odinga’s second promise to NASA fans on the swearing-in event organized to take place at Uhuru Park in Kenya’s Capital city, Nairobi has been the talk of the day after last year’s economic boycotts were unveiled by the NASA coalition.
The long waited swearing in of the people’s president; Raila was finally celebrated by the NASA supporters with some travel from different counties to attend the event. Many could not hide their joy during the event that hosted a number of people at Uhuru Park.
Die-hard NASA supporters earlier proved to have nothing to hide but take personal risks if their Coalition leader was not sworn in.
‘I am very happy that Raila has finally done in accordance with his promise that he made to us at Jacaranda grounds. I denied my husband his conjugal rights for almost a month and promised him that the day Raila would be sworn in all shall become normal. Him being a NASA supporter too we both came to an agreement before I took it into action,’ saying Naomi Keya, a die-hard fan of NASA.
Naomi also added that she is hopeful that their long-term dream of clinching the presidency position shall come to pass in accordance with their plans.
She reinstated that all she expects is peace and reconciliation between the leaders to enable development of the country and give elected leaders an opportunity to meet their manifestos.
She urged politicians to avoid fights during parliamentary sessions but instead embrace peace and be a good example to the Kenyan people.
