Two shot dead while stealing electronics in Lucky Summer

Two suspected thugs were gunned down by police in Lucky Summer after a botched robbery.

The two had raided a house to steal electronics but the occupants raised the alarm, alerting police.

The police said they recovered the stolen goods but a third robber managed to escape on foot.

The gang had already made its way into the living room when police caught up with them.

The bodies were taken to City Mortuary. Elsewhere, two pedestrians were shot and seriously wounded during a robbery on an M-Pesa shop in Dandora.

A gang had raided the shop and grabbed an unknown amount of money before escaping when the alarm was raised, attracting a crowd that tried to stop them. The thugs fired into the crowd and injured the two pedestrians.
