A Governor in Ukambani has left tongues wagging over a rather archaic antics to deal with critics and officials who have failed to conform to the “boss” leadership style.
The seasoned politician is said to be using a young man known by locals as “Mr. Fix” it to punish officials within the devolved unit who fail to toe the line.
The latest victim of the young man was the deputy governor of the county, whom he locked out of his office over a small tiff with the county boss.
The Deputy Governor is said to have reported to work but found a huge padlock on the office door, forcing him to plead with the man said to be on the Governor’s payroll.
Grapevine has learnt that the “errand boy” has also in the past been used by the Governor to punish County Executive Committee (CEC) members over small administrative mistakes.
