Four people were separately charged with defilement and rape in an Eldoret court.
They are alleged to have committed the offences before and on Christmas Day.
Kennedy Kipkemei faced two alternative charges of defiling and raping his 12-year-old step-daughter.
Kipkemei is alleged to have committed the offence on December 25, 2017, at Mti Moja in Eldoret West.
Philip Omaya was also charged with defiling a nine-year-old girl on the same day at Imbinga village in Likuyani, Kakamega County.
The two denied the charges and were released on a bond of Sh200, 000 each by Eldoret Senior Principal Magistrate Harrison Barasa.
The two cases will be heard on January 8, 2018.
Another suspect, David Shikoli, was charged with raping a woman on December 23 in Kambi Miwa estate in Eldoret West, Uasin Gishu County.
Shikoli pleaded not guilty to the charges and was released on a bond of Sh200, 000 with a surety of a similar amount.
Stephen Musyoka Mwangangi was charged with defiling a 16-year-old girl on different dates between December 10 and 25 in Lusweti village in Eldoret East.
Lusweti, who also appeared before Mr Barasa, denied the charges and was released on a bond of Sh100,000.
The cases will be heard on January 15, 2018.
