Peace be with you,

President Uhuru Kenyatta is the president elect while Raila odinga is claiming that the 26th October Presidential elections were flawed. President Uhuru has people supporting him, while Hon Raila Odinga has followers who have vowed to demonstrate and some to boycott products such as safaricom lines,M-pesa ,oil products and some particular milk brands. Some are also calling for secession. But President elect Uhuru Kenyatta's side is not budging.

When elephants fight, it is the grass which suffers most, as it is trampled on.The grass is Kenya's job market, businesses, boycott, loss of revenue, insecurity, poverty, hate, riots, damages, University closure, counties without salaries, hunger, hate, animosity, killings etc.

l saw a picture in church where President elect Uhuru Kenyatta and Hon Raila Odinga are greeting one another and smiling. Do you know that your supporters cannot greet each other, let alone meet? Do you know the social media is on fire? Kenya is made up of 44 tribes who want their leaders to make peace with one another. lf we go by our history, Kenya will not achieve desired goals.Kenya has achieved a lot so far. But with this bickering, Kenya will not attain vision 2030 nor will we be able to attain the 12 sustainable development goals?

Let us not go back to 2008/9 where there was fighting and Kenyans had to live in refugee camps, lives were lost, people lost their privacy, properties were lost and families disintegrated.

Mr President elect and Hon Raila Odinga, when will you preach love, peace and unity? I reiterate the Bishop of Canterbury RT Rev Justin Welby who preached in church and both of you attended, where he urged Kenyans to reconcile and maintain peace and remain united especially between the two of you.

President elect Uhuru Kenyatta agreed with the Bishop, when will they start? One proverb says " lf you carry the egg basket do not dance". Let reconciliation come when there is justice. President elect Uhuru Kenyatta and Hon Raila Odinga even took a group photo during the celebration of Anglican Church of Kenya's 100 years to mark the culmination of the first centenary of all saints cathedral. I am happy that both of you attended the ceremony. Let's honour the late Bishop Cornelius Korir the peacemaker during his state burial on 11th to preach and forge peace between President elect Uhuru Kenyatta and Hon Raila Odinga and to bury their hatchet during this time. Let his burial turn to be a lasting peace mission the Bishop would have done to rescue Kenya from disintegrating. Let Bishop Korir's death redeem the peace which is elusive in Kenya. Let the peace which Bishop Korir used to bring to warring communities now be brought between President elect Uhuru Kenyatta and Hon Raila Odinga. This will be Bishop Korir lifetime achievement.

The county is divided into ethnic and tribal lines. Everyone is digging in and both parties have launched military wings complete with outfits.Young children have noticed that adults have political differences, that is not good for our future leaders. A Zambian proverb says "The worlds of the elders do not lock all the doors; they leave the right door open" .I hope all their right door are open. Mathews 5:24 says leave your offering there before the altar and go; first be reconciled with your brother and then come and present your offering.

I hope and pray that you will do so come on 11th during the state funeral. Because both of you will not be on the ballot come 2022 therefore, please cultivate peace and leave Kenyans united.
