Governor elect deploys people to clean city

With less than a week since the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) declared their election results, some of the leaders have started implementing their manifestos on a high note. Boniface Mwangi is one of the leaders who after losing the hotly contested Starehe constituency seat to Charles Njagua, decided to remove all his campaign posters all over the constituency.

Nairobi Senator, Hon. Mike Mbuvi Sonko is not also left behind after deploying his team ‘Team Sonko’ to clean the city by removing all the campaign posters. The ongoing activity that started at Moi Avenue has raised reactions from people with many congratulating the governor elect for his swift move.

The team removes all campaign posters regardless of the Party Posters. Many have proven that Sonko’s mission, #LetsFixNairobi, to clean Nairobi is just started and hopeful that he shall continue with the good work for the next five years in leadership.
