Slain poll official Chris Msando appeared on a KTN show at around 18.20pm last Friday, hours before he went missing.

Mr Msando was interviewed on KTN News live Show Dira ya Wiki, where he demonstrated how the agency would manage the polls using Kenya Integrated Elections Management System (KIEMS).

He was accompanied by an Independent Electoral Boundaries Commission(IEBC) official in the interview during which he explained the system was foolproof and could not be abused to rig elections.

The two IEBC officials were accompanied by two other men; one appears to be an IEBC clerk and the other a voter.

Msando had been invited in the studio to explain how KIEMS would work during the August 8 general election and also assure Kenyans of the integrity of the poll. He and the other IEBC officials demonstrated how the system would manage the election.
