The deputy president William Ruto’s wife Rachel Ruto is encouraging Kenyans to implement this deed in a bid to see that peace prevails before and after the general poll.
With only less than two weeks to the general elections in Kenya, peace advocacy is taking the center stage in every meeting. Government institutions among them National Cohesion and Integration Commission is keen to see that peace prevails in Kenya.
Rachel Ruto is on her final lap in her initiative towards praying for peace in Kenya. Her peace advocacy move dubbed “Tuombeeni Kenya’ is being embraced by the clergy and political leaders across 47 counties.
William Ruto’s wife is saying that this is the final push and encourages Kenyans to push hard till something good comes out.
Speaking recently during her visit the North Rift Counties, Rachel Ruto expressed her need for all Kenyans to dedicate their time to prayers. She said that incessant prayers with Faith will reach God.
“It is called the final push, pray until something happens. We are like God’s watch men and we will be held liable if we will allow dirty deed enter the door of our peaceful country,” She said while addressing the congregation in Iten town.
She is encouraging the church to abscond intercessors, sacrifice their time and pray hard to Kenya.
“In this little time to the general polls, let’s sacrifice our precious time for the sake of prayers, kick-out your blankets at night and pray, go to the bush, join friends and do not get tired in praying. Peace is paramount in Kenya now and henceforth,” she expressed.
