The late CS Joseph Nkaissery was last week reported to have had an intent to open a legal suit against two Kajiado County politicians for accusing him of a plot to kill them.

The late CS threatened to take on Kajiado Governor David Nkedianye and Kajiado Central MP Memusi Kanjori to court through his lawyers after the two accused him of planning to 'finish' them before the August 8 elections.

The leaders had recorded a statement at Kajiado police headquarters claiming they were living in fear for their lives over their political differences with the CS who died under unclear circumstances during the weekend.

The late Rtr. General Nkaissery had revealed as reported by The Standard Newspaper that he was set to obtain details of what the duo had reported to the police before instructing his lawyers to open a legal suit on the claims leveled against him .

He dismissed the claims as unfounded and held that he had been mandated to protect all Kenyans as the interior CS and was not one who could eliminate his kinsmen over political differences in his home county.

Governor Nkedianye had claimed that the CS had vowed to ensure that the ruling party won all posts in the county even if it will mean eliminating those occupying the various political offices.
