The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission IEBC slapped Rarieda constituency Independent candidate Netto Adhola with a Sh250, 000 for using ODM colours and NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga’s images on his campaign materials.
IEBC had summoned the Rarieda politicians and 6 others including Bungoma Governor Lusaka, Kibwezi East Member of Parliament Ms Mbalu and Starehe ODM candidate Steve Mbogo over alleged misconduct.
Governor Ken Lusaka was facing violence charges which he denied shifting blame to Ford Kenya Party supporters.
“We have videos of people in green t-shirts and you will see which group was carrying bigger rungus,” said Lusaka in an interview.
Mr Eric Onyango wanted Mr Netto Adhola compelled by IEBC to cease masquerading as an ODM member, to stop using posters with ODM party themes.
Governor Lusaka’s case was against Ford Kenya’s Wycliff Wangamati but were both fined Sh 1million each by IEBC over the charges
