The Labour Party of Kenya finally came out strongly to announce its stand to support the re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta come 2017 August polls.
The party leader Ababu Namwamba affirmed that he will lead the party members in various parts of the country to drum up support for Jubilee Party re-election.
Led by the party national chair Julia Auma Ajiambo the party issued certificates to its aspirants for other elective seats.
The LPK party joining other parties such as KANU, CCM, and PNU to support Jubilee creates more popularity for the party.
Jubilee Party is gaining more support to be more progressive. This will surely affect the outcome in the voter numbers as the LPK is now against the opposition.
This is a fulfillment of Ababu’s promise that he would find another party after he ceased being the secretary general of the Orange Democratic Movement six months ago.
This is ironical because Ababu Namwamba as a leader did not support the Government’s agenda but after the wrangles that occurred in ODM he is willing to support Jubilee’s re-election.
After what looked like the former secretary General of ODM being chased away from the party, this is his comeback into politics using LPK.
This is expected as they all comment that politics is a dirty game.
