Many are times Kenyan ask is there really a straight forward police officer in Kenya. We all know Kenya police officers with all wrong doings. Talk of extra-judicial killings, talk of corruption, talk of harsh people.Actually, the list is endless.

All in all, there is always a remnant in each and every generation.Kenyans should know that there is a bunch of police officers who have risen above the police stereotype and they are living for God.

You may doubt and ask yourself how can a police officer execute his duties without soiling his hands in his career?

Here is the answer. Last Sunday, the entire Western Region Administration police led by their County Chaplain Rev. Senior Sergeant Peter Kibet Ndiema paid Joy Celebration Centre in Chavakali under the leadership of Bishop Evans Achanga a visit during their Sunday Service and they were indeed a great blessing to the congregants.

Speaking to the worshipers Ndiema elucidated the responsibilities of a local church to the Government.

He drew his sermon from 1 Timothy 2:1-4 and Romans 13:1-7
He further challenged worshipers to take a leading role in praying for the government and the law enforcers because they are set in place by God Himself for good of His people.

He also asked worshipers not to view police as enemies but co-workers in the accomplishment of the great commission.

Additionally reminded them that they have a biblical responsibility not only to pray for those in authority but also to participate through voting in the right kind of leaders.

According to him, God matters more and He is the only person that can bring transformation in the society. So they need His backing for efficiency.

Lastly explained that if Christians do not take any action, God can still raise up wicked leaders in order to teach them a lesson.

Meanwhile,Rev Jairus Owunza and Mrs Mellen Achanga thanked them for the great work they are doing in transformong the society through the word.
