Former industrialization minister and Nandi County Governor's aspirant Henry Kosgey has reiterated that he is the best-suited candidate to unseat the incumbent governor.

Speaking to the residents at a function in the county on Friday, the tourism fund chair stated that with his vast experience with issues to do with governance he is the best-placed candidate to transform the county.

He pointed out the numerous challenges that had engulfed the current regime which included poor healthcare and poor roads and access to water.

Mr. Kosgey emphasized on the need to elect credible leaders with a proven track record. He talked about his strong belief in education and agribusiness.

"If elected, I would ensure that education, healthcare, and agriculture are given the first priority in my government. We shall work together with all the residents from all corners of the county and create opportunities for the youths, women, and people with disability," said Kosgey.

He vowed to use his experience and goodwill to bring in investors and boost the economy of the county. He is to vie on a jubilee ticket against the incumbent Dr. Cleophas Lagat and a host of other leaders.
