A video doing rounds on the social media streets shows a man most likely a Tanzanian national and a white lady presumably a tourist recording a video where the lady speaks in english as the man translates to Kiswahili.
The tourist talks about her love for the Tanzanians and how hospitable and friendly they are. She goes ahead to appreciate the wide variety of animals she got to see in her visit and asks other nationals to go and experience Tanzania as it is an incredible country.
On the other hand, the Tanzanian tour guide translates her message to mean that Tanzanians are lazy as they keep on complaining for lack of food whereas they have flowers in their compounds instead of cooking and eating them. In his translation, he condemns Tanzanians for asking the president to give them food, he says the president is not a chef and that they should boil their clothes and eat them.
The unsuspecting tourist looks at the tour guide innocently trusting that he is doing the translation right.
