How chips and a 300 ml Fanta soda made her dump me

Love a beautiful gift every man wishes to receive from any woman around them. But that’s no longer the case as ladies may courageously tell you ‘’love can’t be placed on table as a meal” love is expensive.

I had this beautiful chic who I loved very much.I met her online and I crashed on her.I made her my friend and finally my lover.

Our relationship became stronger and stronger with time. Everyone knew we were dating including our parents who wished us well.

Love was sweeter with time as we could visit each other every time and occasionally have family dinner together. This was before I joined campus.

After I joined campus things were lovely and her love for me was so good. She could visit me on campus more often, to keep the love burning.

Upon completion of high school, she was selected to join my campus. This gave me more hopes of having her away from ‘mafisi’, we had promised each other love until death do us part.

In her second year, things were not the same. 'Never choose a television man over of a visionary man’, she didn’t apply this famous quote.

She shifted his love to a bodaboda operator. When I got the news, I was so surprised.I had to confirm with her since it sounded like a dream.

The following morning I went to her room to ask her about the rumors but she ended up crying without telling me anything.

After a while, she gained the courage to speak,“Hmmm…Ben, I loved you so much, my mind and soul were with you…that one day we may spend the rest of our life together, but this will not happen ... I was convinced by someone when he gave me Chips and 300 ml soda that he was ready to marry me and he can support me while in school as for you, you are still learning and you can’t provide for me, goodbye Ben”

I had to take a deep breath and get back to my room without a single word. I had to comfort myself with this phrase, “You will get past this stage in your life. You will love again. And most of all, you are NEVER alone”
