This is indeed the spirit of CHRISTMAS!

For 21 year old physically challenged Peter Njoroge from Majengo-Thika, this will be a Christmas like no other.

He has diligently worked for BEAVERLINE-MANCHESTER TRAVELLERS SACCO for more than 4 years but nothing prepared him to such a precious gift.

Yesterday, Njoroge became a proud owner of bus donated to him by his employer. Other partners in this mission were:
1. Thika Motor Dealers
2. Dodi Brothers body builders
3. Invesco Insurance.

Njoroge is dumb and has Parkinson's manifestation. But he executes his role perfectly.

This morning I spoke to Moses Ngigi,alias Madee, one of the managers of the sacco. He had this to say:

"Njoroge ni kijana ambaye amefanya kazi na sisi zaidi ya miaka mine sasa. Anapanga magari , anatutafutia change na kazi zingine ndogo ndogo. Management ikampenda sana. Lakini ana shida ya kuongea, kutetemeka mikono na kumwaga mate. Kusikia yeye yuko sawa.

Yeye huwa hana mshahara lakini management ilipitisha kila gari linampatia shilingi ishirini kwa siku. Tunayo magari zaidi ya mia moja. Hiyo ni kusema ya kwamba yeye hupata elfu mbili kwa siku. Kati ya hizi yeye hupewa mia mbili za kujikimu halamu zingine anawekewa kwa bank account yake. Directors wa hii kampuni yetu ndio signatories wa hiyo account".
