In yet another political master stroke, Jubilee coalition led by President Uhuru Kenyatta seem to be losing a sense of direction as the opposition seem to be growing stronger day by day.
On Tuesday 13th, December 2016, during a Wiper Party National delegates conference, Co-Principals of the CORD coalition, led by the Former Prime minister Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka of the Wiper party joined hands with Musalia Mudavadi of the Amani National Congress (ANC) and promised to work together to take the Jubilee administration home through the proposed National Super Alliance (NASA).
To many, especially the supporters of the CORD coalition, NASA alliance is God send. On the other hand, many of the former Jubilee coalition and now Jubilee party supporters did not see this coming considering the in-house wrangles the CORD coalition has been facing for some time now on who will be their presidential flag bearer come 2017.
The CORD leaders who have taken advantage of Jubilee administration’s weaknesses especially in its failure to address corruption cases related to NYS and Eurobond scandals are pushing for the proposed NASA alliance that hopes to take the jubilee administration home come August 2017.
If the National Super Alliance (NASA) is anything to go by, it’s deemed to give the Jubilee party leaders sleepless nights considering the influence of the leaders who are to be behind NASA Alliance like Raila Odinga, Musalia Mudavadi, Moses Wetangula, Gideon Moi, Isaac Ruto and many who have shown support of the same like Bonny Khalalwe who represented Moses Wetangula in the Tuesday Wiper Party event in Kasarani Gymnasium.
