Three tricks on how to survive in campus whole week for a zero budget

I know many will wonder how one can survive in campus without a bob in their pocket for a whole week but trust me many have been making it even for two to three weeks without a single cent in their pockets. Since the very first day I stepped in campus this has been one of my “head cracking” research I have been doing. They say experience is the best teacher but also problem makes us learn more and this is very true for I can clearly point out that the life that I was living first and second years is totally different from the life am living in third year.

I clearly remember one of my high school teacher used to tell us that learning is a continuous process and not only in books, pen, handouts or siting in class makes us learn, as a student one should learn in every step of life and in problems we meet. My research begun immediately when I stepped in campus but the whole of my first year I never got solution on my problem. Imagine I used to have a debt of almost twenty thousand at every end of semester for I used to borrow money from my classmates, friends whenever I called my mum at home and told me “uchumi ni mbaya”. Believe it I used to go and organize “harambee” in my local churches on holidays to raise this money so as to clear the debt when I go back for next semester so that I may get room for signing new contracts.

When I got in second year second semester I saw that it was getting serious and I pledged with myself that I should complete my project of research the first weeks to avoid accumulation of the bill again. I went in it and this time round I was very serious on it and fortunately there was this friend of mine called John who used to be punctual to our room in lunch time since first year that he never missed even a single day with his sweet stories . I thought for a while and came to know that John was the best sample character that I needed in my research.

I secretly studied John’s character on how he managed to survive in the campus and observed three unique tricks that he used to survive. Am now also living it easy since ten out of ten of my leapers whom I gave hint on how to survive came back to give their gratitude and gave me the crown of “PROFESSOR’ since my project went through despite the undergraduate state I am. Below are three unique ways one can survive in campus with a zero budget;

1. Make many friends as possible

Be a kind of person who is friendly to everyone that you should have minimum of 100 friends in the campus. This increases your play on the circle that will give room to take lunch from different people for hundred days and as you complete the circle the first friend will have forgot. Be creative and come up with sweet stories to make them enjoy as your take the lunch, this convinces and confuses them not to notice your mission on activity.

2. Never miss any university event where there are refreshments

You should have prior information on any event in university with refreshments so as you can secure your position before the venue gets full. Getting first seats makes one to be advantaged when time of main agenda reaches.

3. Be friendly to your roommates

Be friendly to your roommates and perform all duties in room like: washing utensils, mopping room to compensate in budgeting.
