The exam papers scenario was very disappointing

To have the picture of a Member of Parliament's face on an academic exam paper is to mock those sitting for the exams. But our politicians don't seem to understand that.

Since when did politicians become in charge of the Education Board? If we must have their faces on exam papers, then Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i's face would be appropriate, but that wasn't the case.

Our politicians seem to enjoy boasting about their successes. We've seen billboards announcing the projects they are about to undertake or those that they have completed.

While we might appreciate the gesture, they should remember that development was the reason people elected them in the first place. So they should be at work solving their people's problems, not flaunting themselves.

The exam papers scenario was very disappointing.
