Uhuru is a non-performer. He hasn’t fixed the corruption monster and neither has he done anything towards bringing Kenyans together other than believing that one party like Jubilee will unite Kenyans. The leaks show that Uhuru is a very dishonest person. The things he was blaming Kibaki for are the very things he has embraced. The Chinese he was lambasting have become his bosom buddies, and now he does not see their poor workmanship. Sifu Msafiri

This is how politicians are. They are naked opportunists. Once they get to power, all the hullabaloos and ideals are forgotten and the real character emerges. I would rate Kibaki a saint compared to Uhuru, though both are open ethnic leaning leaders. If the cables are real, then Uhuru is a turncoat. He betrayed all the ideals he claimed to stand for. Reading between the lines, the comparisons do not really make Uhuru a man of doubletalk. ODM-K was advocating dissolution of parties to promote the rise of one person with no clear agenda. JP is for the purpose of uniting Kenyans. Poaching of MPs under Moi and Kibaki was very different from what Uhuru is doing. As for the Chinese, I’m not sure if any African leader has a better option.
