2017: A GAME CHANGER

Politics is a dirty game and this coming year, 2017, is no different. Simple math here.

Opposition leader, Raila Odinga, has a plan. And he seems to be playing the game of political alignment carefully. Many will argue that by him and his coalition, CORD, not presenting their flagbearer for 2017 elections abruptly, he could be facing decision-related problems.

We all agree that this is a guy who has been in politics for more than 20 years and that alone gives him a huge political experience. He has faced the governments of Moi, Kibaki and now Uhuruto.

But now many Kenyans think he has only one bullet left to shoot. Shifts in politics are as swift as they occur. Some will call them surprises but all these are mere friendships taking place with the eventuality of cash being pushed in the middle. Money exchanging hands? Yeah call it whatever you want.

The truth is despite the ongoing rifts within the CORD coalition, this one man knows exactly what he's doing together with his political comrades. The public may have varied opinions regarding the dented picture of the coalition for now as bigger decisions are yet to be made. And that will come as surprise to many.

As a voter, all you have to do is keep your eyes open with your ID card and voter's card ready. Much of the scenes in the political arena at the moment will be totally distinct from the up-coming events.
