There was panic at the Likoni ferry crossing on Saturday
when a vessel stalled. Yet this was not the first time this was happening. It
was not funny seeing the many panicked foreigners. Some feared they would miss
their flights.
Even worse was that all communication was done in Kiswahili
and no one appeared to care to update the foreigners on what was happening.
As one of them rightfully, the mess should be sorted out
once and for all. At the same time, the Kenya Ferry Services should think of an
alternative in the event that its vessels stall.
