Hassan Wario resignation is inevitable

Resignation is not a crime even though unemployment rate in Kenya is high. IEBC learned the hard way and the Sports Cabinet Secretary Hassan Wario should resign quickly before this whole issue becomes a political affair.

In July, the CS was taken to court by his ex-wife who is now asking the courts for Sh400,000 monthly maintenance.

Rio Olympics came, and we participated after a deal was reached over doping claims. Controversies will and may not end soon for him.

The Sports CS for sure knows how to play the cards and I bet he is a fan of Hollywood drama. Interestingly, he disbanded the National Olympic Committee with full knowledge of the consequences, or maybe his advisers told him otherwise.

With the Tokyo Olympics on the way and the International Olympics Committee threatening dire consequences, I pity Kenya.

Our sports enemies are now happy with what is happening, because, our house is in a shambles. It is saddening that those to be affected the most are not the CS nor the NOC officials, but individual athletes.
