I joined the University of Nairobi in 2006 to study Production Design.
My most memorable time in campus was my graduation in 2010; the perfect culmination of the entire campus experience.
My favourite course was Computer Aided Design because I loved computers and technology, something I inherited from my dad. My worst course involved building 3D models and landscaping... I don’t remember what the unit was called, but I could never seem to get it right.
I made my first coin interning at a company called Fingerprint during my first year. In my second year, Avril was born, so I began to create music and work on my art.
Dating in campus was not too bad, although it was made a bit difficult by occasionally being in the media because of my music. I was also juggling my academics with my music career.
I was not one for going out, because I was a bit stuck-up, and most of the time I was trying to focus on my coursework.
I made one very good friend in university, Achie Otigo. She is a designer. She is still my stylist to this date.
Overall, I think university helped me meet a lot of people, and taught me to deal with different personalities.
