The plan to close Dadaab and Kakuma refugee camps is highly commendable.
It's a well-known fact that both Dadaab and Kakuma refugee camps have become scheming centres to unleash terror on Kenyans.
It is simply unacceptable for refugees to take our hospitality for granted.
We've done our part in hosting these refugees for decades and it's high time we re-located them to their home countries as we can't host them indefinitely.
UN bodies should not be rigid about Kenya being a signatory to UN conventions on refugees since our national security and interests comes first.
