Can opposition win elections in Africa?

This year we’ve witnessed the just concluded Tanzanian election and CCM which had the ruling party candidate declared the winner; same as Guinea and Ivory Coast.

The incumbent have resources and the outgoing president in Tanzania would not have liked a change so that he retires in peace.

It was only in Kenya where NARC was able to wrestle from the ruling government the presidency.

Another example we have is, Uganda, can anyone defeat president Museveni?

In Africa the opposition lacks funds and togetherness. You can find three opposition presidential candidates who want to fight the current presidency, but, is this possible?

The opposition should not cry foul yet they are not united and strategic. They should leave the incumbent to win elections. Better still, they can shelve their ambitions and choose one person so that they can be trusted.
