Deputy President Willium Ruto has been facing a lot of pressure because of his trial at The Hague. Now that he is off the hook, he should be more productive and efficient in delivering quality services.
The termination of his case is changing how Kenyans see him. His name hit the headlines almost every day, not in a positive light but associating him with scandals.
Ruto was seen as a perpetrator of the post-election violence but now he is viewed as a hero who suffered innocently at the ICC.
Congratulations ICC for setting the Deputy President free so that he serves the nation as a free man. A lot of energy and time which he used in defending himself should now be channeled to delivering quality service for the benefit of Kenyans.
However, Ruto and Sang should advocate for the justice of the post-election violence victims even as they celebrate their victory.
Ruto and Sang should be at the fore-front as ambassadors of peace in our country. They should preach peace and unity to all Kenyans.
Kenyans should shun politics associated with violence, tribalism, racism and negative ethnicity. We should be united. We should pray together as a nation in case of any differences as we prayed for Ruto and Sang’s case. Unity is strength, a nation united will never be defeated.
