MP John Mbadi has maintained that the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy must have a parallel vote tallying system despite the government's threats to undermine it.

He said the system will monitor the voting process to ensure that there is no rigging of the election to help avoid post poll issues.

Mbadi encouraged the public especially people from the Nyanza region to make good of the ongoing voter registration exercise saying that other leaders have vowed to support ODM party in case people from Nyanza region register in large number.

Meanwhile the party chairman has called on all political leaders and their supporters who ditched ODM party for other parties to come back assuring them of fairness come party nomination exercise scheduled for next year.

Mbadi said ODM party cannot shun away other leaders who have shown interest in joining the party if the party wants to win presidential election comes 2017 saying that most leaders defected because of the mess which was in ODM before.

The ODM chairperson was accompanied by Migori Governor, Zachary Okoth Obado who reiterated that he is in ODM and will defend his gubernatorial seat on an ODM ticket and further rubbished naysayers who were spreading propaganda that he is in a Party that is Jubilee affiliated.
