Sultan palace resorts set to join big projects at coast targeting booming tourism

KILIFI, KENYA: Sultan Palace Beach resort is set to open its door to customers late this year adding to a number of similar projects targeting booming tourism business at the Kenyan coast.

Sultan Palace Beach Retreat is constructed on 43 acres of beach property in South Coast’s Kilifi. The units, 210 in total, vary from Sh11 million to Sh80 million thanks to the mixed residential development of apartment blocks and stand-alone mansion units.

“The community in Kilifi County will continue to benefit from more CSR projects and business activities within the Sultan Palace Beach Retreat development as we edge closer to completing phase one of the project," said Mr Liu Tiancai - the General Manager of Sultan Palace Beach Retreat - during the unveiling of new classrooms contributed to the local Ngoloko Primary School, as part of their CSR program.

The resort joins bigger projects in Coast such as the recently launched English point Marina.

English Point Marina has a 26-room hotel, conferencing facilities, a roof-top restaurant, a gym and spa, a swimming pool, 96 serviced apartments and eight penthouses. It also has a popular boardwalk that features retail outlets, water-sports centre and a fully-serviced 88-berth marina. Since November 2014, the facility has had a soft opening with the boardwalk, a popular site for wedding ceremonies and cocktail events.
