Incoming Energy and Petroleum Cabinet Secretary Charles Keter has formally resigned as the senator of Kericho County, following clearance by House vetting committee.
In a letter addressed to Speaker Ekwee Ethuro and Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) chairman Isaac Hassan, the senator indicated that he was in compliance with the constitution, which requires that State officers resign before taking up public appointments.
