Kenyans have been encouraged to take advantage of the ongoing El Nino rains and plant more trees on forests and on their farms. “I want to encourage every Kenyan to grow as many trees as possible during the rainy period in order to save dwindling forest cover," advised the Green Africa Foundation Chairman Dr Issac Kalua. Dr Kalua said such a move would ensure an increase in forest cover, which has suffered tremendously as a result of wanton felling of forests.
