Limuru, Kenya: Police in Limuru have arrested six students from Angaza High School in connection to exam leakage in ongoing Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
Five of the students were arrested Wednesday while one private candidate had been arrested on Tuesday morning after they were found with History paper, which was being done on that day.
Limuru police boss Mohamed Bakuli said they have launched a man hunt for the school principal so that he can record statement in connection with the exam leakage.
Bakuli said the Wednesday arrests were made after the private candidate alleged that the school principal shared the exam leakage with her through her phone.
"The teacher’s mobile phone is switched off. We have tried to look for him at the school and at home but we have not managed to get him, but we will track him and bring him to book,” said Bakuli.
The students are being held at Tigoni Police Station and will be arraigned in court after investigations are completed.
