The tyranny of numbers has made the Jubilee administration blind.

Those in the ruling coalition don’t look like responsible leaders. They are acting recklessly as if their tyranny of numbers will remain a permanent weapon.

They are now spitting fire and chest thumping in praise of themselves.

It is unfortunate that Jubilee MPs are attacking the ICC and calling it a foreign court. Didn’t Kenya ratify and domesticate this court? Why should we behave like rogues before the international community? Kenya is bigger than any individual.

Those indicted by the ICC said they’ll carry their own cross yet today the whole nation us forced to carry it. Perhaps that’s what it meant, when we were forwarned that “choices have consequences”.

Kenya is now held hostage over political chicanery flowing from ICC prayer rallies for Deputy President William Ruto. We are being forced to acquiesce to prayers full of venom, thereby risking the welfare of our nation.

These prayer rallies are bordering on contempt of court and could work for Ruto’s downfall. Everybody knows that when a dog barks, it’s protecting the master. And the ICC knows that too well.
