The Kenya Commercial Bank conducted its second Kisumu Bus Tour earlier this month that saw potential property investors visit areas like Milimani, Kibos Road, Translakes, Mambo Leo, Tom Mboya, Riat and Kiwasco Tanks. The participants were mainly middle-class and they are looking to own property in Kisumu County.
“There is an urgent need to provide affordable homes to the middle-income and lower-income groups in this region,” said KCB Group Mortgages Director Sam Muturi. “Real estate investments in Kisumu are moving beyond the central business district and embracing new building technologies as the town’s infrastructure continues to expand.”
