Twenty-eight Chuka University students will be among the crowd that will attend US President Barack Obama's speech at Kasarani on Sunday.
Chuka University Vice Chancellor Prof Erastus Njoka said the US Embassy, through Ambassador Robert Godec, has written to the institution asking for submission of the 28 names of students for preparation of their tickets.
The VC said the dean of students and students' leaders are consulting on whom should be considered for the historic occasion.
"The university has already vetted the students, who will attend the historical occasion. The embassy required highly disciplined students to represent the institution," Prof. Njoka said.
He added: "The letter also stipulated the code of conduct and requirements, among them small cameras during the occasion,"
Njoka, who also received a personal invitation at the US Embassy in Gigiri on Friday, said he would use the occasion to map out his institution to the globally recognised entrepreneurs.
