Duo in Sh576m ivory case face more charges

The State is considering charging two suspected ivory smugglers with new charges of trafficking ivory worth Sh100 million seized in Vietnam three years ago.

Senior Director of Public Prosecutions Alex Jamii said Jacob Musa and David Mwaroli, who were on Friday enjoined in the case of Nelson Ayoo, James Nyala and Fredrick Munguli are likely to be charged in another case in which Ayoo, Nyala and Munguli are facing charges of trafficking the ivory seized in Vietnam.
