Kofi Annan’s message to Nigeria ahead of Saturday’s elections

Nigeria: With just hours to Nigeria’s elections former UN Secretary General,Kofi Annan has pleaded with the people of Nigeria to conduct peaceful elections to show the rest of the world  that Africa’s biggest nation has come of age.

Annan has called on supporters of the two aspirants, President Jonathan and General Buhari to refrain from violence adding that the two have constantly reminded Nigerians that they are merely rivals and not enemies.
