Narok, Kenya: Narok County Governor Samuel Tunai has said revenue collection from Masai Mara Game Reserve has tripled since his county government automated it.
He said on Friday at Maasai Mara University grounds during Jamhuri Day celebrations that the new system has curbed financial hemorrhage. "Since we automated revenue collection last year, money accrued from tourism has tripled," said Tunai.
The money, he said has been utilised in improving people's lives through development of infrastructure.
