Kajiado, Kenya: Following former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka’s discriminatory remarks towards a journalist, Kajiado County Wiper co-ordinator Solomon Kinyanjui has withdrawn his support for the party, citing frustration over the party leader’s utterances.
Kinyanjui termed the former VP’s statements shameful and representative of his ethnic misconceptions, which created a negative picture of his party.
“Due to the unfortunate statement by my party leader that resulted in a lot of pressure from Wiper supporters in Kajiado County, I have opted to resign as the party co-ordinator,” he said.
