Narok, Kenya: Narok County government has outsourced the collection of entry fees to the Masai Mara National Game Reserve.

KAPS, which used to collect entry fees in the Mara Triangle, has been contracted to collect the fees. It started collecting revenue at the reserve at the weekend, replacing county officials who were stationed at all entry gates to the park.

The company takes charge several months after the county government cancelled a contract the defunct Narok County Council entered with a local bank to do the job over an alleged breach of the agreement.
