Kenya students win tourism competition

Two Kenyan students are among 22 high school students from 12 countries across the world who emerged winners of the 2013 Student Research Competition sponsored by the Global Travel and Tourism Partnership (GTTP), a multi-country educational programme to introduce young people to career opportunities in Travel and Tourism.

Carol Jepchumba and Sylvia Clara Sitati from Moi Tea Girls Secondary school in Kericho County attended the conference held last month in Monaco and shared the results of their research on food and culinary tourism in their countries.
