Nairobi, Kenya: President Uhuru Kenyatta Monday morning held talks with former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo who paid him a courtesy call at State House, Nairobi.
President Kenyatta briefed Obasanjo on the Jubilee Coalition’s progress in fulfilling the pledges it made to Kenyans.
He cited the devolution of services to the counties, the launch of the Uwezo Fund and the implementation of the free maternity services as some of the projects that have already taken off.
The former Nigerian leader, who has been in the country on a private visit, commended President Kenyatta and the Jubilee Coalition for their focus on projects that will improve the lives of the poor.
