NYANDARUA, KENYA: Shock has gripped Milangine village in Nyandarua after a man who allegedly was found in bed with a friend’s wife was stabbed to death.
The deceased had been drinking with the husband for the better part of last Sunday when it is said he left to the latter’s house in the evening.
According to residents, word reached the husband that the man had left to his friend’s house to sleep with the wife.
“He left the bar in a hurry and rushed to his home where he found his friend with the wife in bed. That was when a bitter exchange of words ensued,” said Josphant Muthomi, a resident.
He said, the two started a fight when the husband picked a panga and stabbed the deceased on the head.
He later chopped off his private parts before escaping.
“The commotion went on for about thirty minutes as the wife who was naked in bed watched,” he noted.
He said that the deceased who was bleeding profusely died while being taken to JM Kariuki memorial hospital in Ol Kalou.
“He sustained deep cuts on his head and legs. His private parts had also been chopped off,” he noted.
Area OCPD Wilson Kosgey who confirmed the incident said that the man has since been arrested and waits to be taken to court.
