Mombasa on high alert over rotavirus outbreak

Mombasa County is on high alert following outbreak of the contagious rotavirus that causes diarrhea among children, leading to life-threatening dehydration.

Governor Abdulswamad Nassir today said three out of 75 children admitted at the Coast General and Referral Hospital (CGRH) have tested post for rotavirus.
