Jubilee and Kadu Asili have accused Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi and his Mombasa counterpart Hassan Joho for bribing their way to power.

This is after several cheques together with other voting materials were found in a bag belonging to three presiding officers arrested at Lagos bar in Kaloleni on Wednesday afternoon.

Kadu Asili Governor Candidate Kazungu Kambi said he was tipped by one of their agents that the two Governors were in town.

He said he went to find out but missed his timing.

However in a press briefing on Thursday, Kingi declined to comment and said that he will issue a statement after he has been issued with his certificate.
