Police in Juja are looking for the crew of a matatu accused of causing the death of a 26-year-old woman after they pushed her out of a moving vehicle.
Area DCI boss Samson Kiptum said they were yet to trace the tout and his driver.
On Tuesday, NTSA suspended operations of Memba Travellers Sacco following the death of Judy Wanjiku last Saturday.
The authority also summoned the management of the Sacco that plies the Meru-Embu and Nairobi routes over the incident.
Besides the vehicles being withdrawn from the roads, the Sacco managers have also been ordered to surrender their crew. However, by yesterday, this had not happened.
Kiptum said the crew had switched off their mobile phones.
Meawnhile, NTSA has directed that the close to 300 vehicles operated by the Sacco undergo inspection.
