During her regular job as a social worker, JANNY KATHOMI became devastated after a face-to-face encounter with girls who use rags during their menses while others skip school completely to avoid "embarrassments" caused by the monthly periods. She shares with SILAS NYAMWEYA why she started an initiative to support vulnerable girls by providing them with free sanitary pads using her own resources.
