Kenyan entertainer Akothee, who this week tied the knot with her lover Denis Schweizer, has announced plans to fly her entire bridal team to Switzerland for a second wedding in July.

Through social media, the flamboyant singer shared that the event will take place on July 10, 2023, and the same bridal team will line up.

"Allow me introduce to you to The Royal Bridal Party gang, our super gang heading to Switzerland for July 10, 2023, Esther Weds Denis. The whole of this YEAR I am getting married start your planning next year," she wrote.

The singer tied the knot on Easter Monday at the Windsor Golf Hotel in Nairobi and her bridal team included Lang'ata MP Phelix 'Jalang'o' Odiwuor, Milly Wa Jesus and her husband Kabi Wa Jesus, Azziad Nasenya, among others.

Celebrities present at the event included Ida Odinga, Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu, MP Millie Odhiambo, CS Aisha Jumwa, Diana Marua, Bahati, Terence Creative, Milly Chebby, Lillian Muli, Janet Mbugua, Alex Mwakideu, Njugush, Migori First Lady Agnes Ayacko, Kisumu First Lady Madam Dorothy Nyong'o, Sandra Dacha, PLO Lumumba, Dr Ofweneke, among many others.

Several entertainers were also invited to witness the lovebirds exchange vows and they could not help but share snippets of the event online.

This, however, did not go down well with Akothee's daughter Rue Baby, who had an issue with those who only took photos of their elegant outfits but tagged the couple of the day.

"Let me just say this before I continue posting...so funny to attend someone's event and post pictures of yourself and tag the bride on the caption without the bride or groom pictures ...eh you people can be very funny.

"Thank you to all invited attendees who made the day a success...and to all the content creating gate crashers, I have no words but at least post the pictures of the bride and groom whom you attended the wedding without an invite," she wrote.
