Nana Dollz: Kasarani MP Karauri is my only boyfriend

A whirlwind of speculation and online chatter has finally been put to rest as Tanzanian socialite Nasma Hassan, popularly known as Nana Dollz, publicly confirmed her romantic relationship with Kasarani MP and SportPesa CEO Ronald Karauri. The confirmation came in a candid video interview shared earlier this week, where Nana openly declared that Karauri was her one and only boyfriend. Ronald Karauri, a distinguished Kenyan businessman and politician, has built a diverse career spanning aviation, gambling, and politics. Nana Dollz, on the other hand, is a well-known Tanzanian socialite, actress, and influencer. Their relationship confirmation came after days of online rumours, fuelled by leaked photos and social media posts suggesting a romantic link between the two. In response, Nana addressed the swirling gossip with a bold open letter. "This socialite has the right to love whoever she wants to love," she wrote, emphasising that her relationship was nobody's business but her own. "We are adults, and we know what we are doing," she added. The controversy began when Tanzanian blogger Mange Kimambi shared a series of photos and screenshots allegedly showing Nana inside the MP's home. The images quickly spread, with some showing Nana wearing Karauri's clothes and posing around his residence. In her posts, Kimambi claimed that Nana has been pressuring the politician to bankroll her lavish lifestyle, including funding the completion of a mansion and even lobbying for a swimming pool to be added to the property. The blogger painted Nana as a calculating figure, accusing her of employing manipulative strategies to secure financial support and luxury, all while disregarding the fallout for those caught in the crossfire. However, Nana claims she has never been with a man for money. In the emotional interview posted a few days ago, Nana is visibly holding back tears while denying accusations of infidelity and being a homewrecker. She clarified that Karauri had already separated from his wife, Captain Ruth, when their relationship began, stating, "Not many people know that they had already separated and that he lives alone." She further defended her character, saying, "I have never been with any other man since I started dating him," directly refuting claims of gold-digging and involvement with other men, including a rumoured wealthy benefactor allegedly financing her lifestyle. Nana also took the opportunity to clear the air about other circulating rumours. She directly responded to allegations made by controversial blogger Mange Kimambi, who had previously suggested that Nana was romantically involved with multiple men. In the visibly emotional interview, Nana held back tears, passionately denying accusations of infidelity and gold-digging. Nana also addressed specific claims linking her to other men, including a rumoured wealthy benefactor allegedly responsible for financing her lifestyle. "The Muhindi guy, they say, built things for me? I've never even shaken his hand," she declared, clearly frustrated. In an earlier post, the Tanzanian beauty also stated that she was not just your typical socialite. "She's not just a socialite, she is smart, educated, hardworking, kind, loving, God-fearing, and loyal," she stated. What we can deduce by now is the fact that Nana enjoys the finer things in life. She recently gave a tour of her multimillion-shilling mansion. In an interview with Wasafi TV, she proudly showcased her stunning home while revealing that her boyfriend foots the bill for her lifestyle. In her classy and futuristic house, she walked viewers through the elegant interiors, highlighting the modern design and spacious layout that have made the home a symbol of her success. While showing off the property, Nana addressed rumours about its funding, denying claims that the mansion was a gift. "I used my small savings that people take for granted to build this house," she told Wasafi TV, emphasising her financial independence. However, she was quick to credit her boyfriend for his significant support, saying; "Boyfriend wangu analipia kila kitu, analipa kodi ya nyumba, analipa ma wigi, ananisupport kwa kazi zangu. He's taking care of me fully. Kuna hela ananipa nawekeza." Our efforts to reach Karauri for a comment have so far been unsuccessful.
